Day 1

Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you'll be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a relaxed afternoon settling in, or take an optional stroll around the city. This evening, meet your guide for a full briefing on the days ahead, covering the route, wildlife highlights, and what to expect on your 11-day journey through Kenya's premier parks and reserves. Day 2

Nairobi to Nanyuki (Ol Pejeta Conservancy)

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive north past Mount Kenya's foothills to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the last two northern white rhinos on Earth and East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive across the conservancy's open plains in your pop-up roof 4x4, watching for lion, cheetah, elephant, and both black and white rhino. Day 3

Nanyuki to Lake Nakuru National Park

This morning, enjoy one final game drive around Ol Pejeta before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its dense flamingo populations and thriving rhino sanctuary. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive through acacia woodland and grassland surrounding the alkaline lake, keeping an eye out for both black and white rhino, Rothschild's giraffe, and prolific birdlife. Overnight at Sopa Lodge, Nakuru.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nakuru after breakfast and travel via the scenic Mau Escarpment into the Maasai Mara, Kenya's most celebrated wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the open savannah, home to the "Big Five" and, seasonally, the Great Migration herds of wildebeest and zebra. Overnight at Enkorok Camp.

Day 5

Full Day Maasai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in your 4x4, tracking lion prides, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo across the reserve's rolling grasslands. Optional add-ons such as a Maasai village visit or a hot air balloon safari over the plains can be arranged. This is the heart of your safari, with the highest concentration of predators and plains game on the itinerary. Overnight at Enkorok Camp.

Day 6

Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After a final morning game drive in the Mara, drive to Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake to Crescent Island, a walking sanctuary where you can safely explore on foot among giraffe, zebra, and antelope, followed by cycling excursion through Hell's Gate National Park beneath its dramatic red cliffs and towering rock towers. Overnight at Sopa Lodge, Naivasha.

Day 7

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Depart Naivasha and travel south to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and unrivalled views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, across the border in Tanzania. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the park's swamps and dried lake beds, where elephant, buffalo, and a variety of plains game gather against the mountain backdrop. Overnight at Sopa Lodge, Amboseli.

Day 8

Full Day Amboseli

A full day dedicated to exploring Amboseli's varied habitats, from swamps to savannah, on morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is best known for its free-ranging elephant families, often photographed with Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak in the background on clear mornings. Watch also for lion, buffalo, giraffe, and abundant birdlife around the swamp edges. Overnight at Sopa Lodge, Amboseli.

Day 9

Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park

Leave Amboseli and drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of the world's largest game reserves, known for its "red elephants" dusted by the park's distinctive red soil. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive along the Galana River, watching for elephant, lion, crocodile, and hippo. Overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day 10

Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park

This morning, enjoy a further game drive in Tsavo East before crossing into Tsavo West National Park, a landscape of volcanic hills, natural springs, and dense bush. Visit Mzima Springs, where an underwater viewing chamber offers a rare glimpse of hippo and fish beneath the surface, before an afternoon game drive in search of lion, leopard, and the park's healthy rhino population. Overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.

Day 11

Tsavo West – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo West before departing for your onward journey, whether that's a transfer to Mombasa for a beach extension, a return drive to Nairobi, or a direct transfer to the airport. This brings your 11-day, 10-night Kenya safari to a close, having covered six of Kenya's premier parks and reserves.
