5 Days, 4 Nights Amboseli, Lake Naivasha & Maasai Mara Mid-Range Safari | Kenya

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south (approx. 4–5 hours) toward Amboseli National Park, with Mount Kilimanjaro rising on the horizon as you approach. Check in to your lodge for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive across the open plains, home to some of Africa's largest elephant herds. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Full Day
Rise early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active and Kilimanjaro is often at its clearest. Return for breakfast, then enjoy a mid-morning visit to Observation Hill and the Amboseli swamps for close-up sightings of elephant, buffalo, hippo, and abundant birdlife. Afternoon game drive in search of lion and cheetah. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive back through Nairobi toward Lake Naivasha (approx. 5–6 hours total, with a lunch stop en route). Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, spotting hippos, giant fish eagles, and flamingos against a backdrop of acacia woodland. Overnight at a lakeside lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart after an early breakfast for the scenic drive to the Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley escarpment (approx. 5–6 hours). Arrive in time for lunch, then set out on an afternoon game drive across the plains that host the world's most famous concentration of predators and, seasonally, the Great Migration. Overnight at your Mara camp/lodge.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Departure
Enjoy one final sunrise game drive through the Mara's rolling savannah, chasing sightings of lion, leopard, elephant, and if you're lucky, cheetah on the hunt. Return for a late breakfast before your transfer back to Nairobi (by road, approx. 5–6 hours) or an optional scheduled flight for a quicker return.
