5 Days, 4 Nights Day Luxury Kenya Safari: Nairobi to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara — Arrival & Sundowner Game Drive
Depart Nairobi in the morning by road via Narok, or opt for a scenic light-aircraft flight straight into the Mara (roughly 45 minutes) for more time on game drives. Arrive at Pearl Mara Camp, settle into your tented suite, and enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the plains.
In the late afternoon, head out on your first game drive as the Mara's golden light draws out the Big Five and the resident herds of wildebeest, zebra, and giraffe. Return to camp for a sundowner cocktail before dinner under the stars

Day 2: Full Day in the Maasai Mara — Big Cats, the Mara River & Maasai Culture
Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the light is ideal for photography. Return to camp for a full breakfast, then spend the late morning at leisure by the pool or relaxing in your suite.
In the afternoon, venture toward the Mara River to look for hippo pods and basking crocodiles, and depending on season (July–October) witness the spectacle of the Great Migration river crossings. Round out the day with an optional visit to a local Maasai village to learn about traditional customs, beadwork, and the community's deep connection to the land.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru — Rhino Sanctuary & Flamingo Shores
After breakfast, check out of Pearl Mara Camp and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya's premier rhino sanctuaries. En route, enjoy sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
On arrival, check in to The Cliff Hotel, Lake Nakuru, perched dramatically above the lake with panoramic views. Head straight into the park for an afternoon game drive, keeping an eye out for both black and white rhino, Rothschild's giraffe, and depending on water levels the lake's famous pink flamingos.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha — Boat Safari, Hell's Gate & Spa
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake known for its resident hippo population and prolific birdlife. Check in to Enashipai Resort & Spa, set on the lakeshore with its own private beach and spa facilities.
Spend the afternoon on a boat safari across the lake to spot hippos, fish eagles, and pelicans up close, followed by a visit to Hell's Gate National Park for a walking or cycling safari through dramatic gorges and towering cliffs one of the few parks in Kenya where you can explore on foot among wildlife. In the evening, unwind with a spa treatment or relax by the pool before dinner.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi — Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast at Enashipai Resort & Spa overlooking the lake before your scenic drive back to Nairobi (approximately 1.5–2 hours). Arrive in time for your onward flight, with optional stops for last-minute curio shopping en route.
