Tour Schedule

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! You will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your guide and transferred to your Nairobi hotel. The afternoon is free to rest and acclimatize. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a comprehensive safari briefing from your guide this evening.

Overnight: Nairobi (hotel)

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi by road through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the escarpment viewpoint for stunning panoramas. Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for an afternoon game drive — your first taste of Africa's most celebrated wildlife arena. Expect to encounter wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and lion on your very first outing.

Travel time: approximately 5–6 hours. Overnight: Masai Mara tented camp

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara

A full day dedicated to the Mara. Depart at dawn for the best predator activity and spend the morning tracking lion prides, cheetah families, and the ever-elusive leopard. Return to camp for a hot lunch before heading out again in the late afternoon when the golden light transforms the savannah into a photographer's paradise. Your guide will tailor every drive to what is active in the ecosystem that day.

Overnight: Masai Mara tented camp

Day 4: Masai Mara — River Crossing & Cultural Visit

This morning positions you at a prime Mara River crossing point, where tens of thousands of wildebeest brave crocodile-infested waters during the Great Migration (July–October). Even outside migration season, the river is a hotspot for hippos, crocodiles, and big cats hunting along its banks. This afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village for an insight into one of East Africa's most iconic cultures.

Overnight: Masai Mara tented camp

Day 5: Masai Mara to Amboseli

Bid farewell to the Mara and drive south toward the shadow of Kilimanjaro. The journey takes you through the Rift Valley floor and small Maasai market towns — a living window into rural Kenyan life. Arrive at Amboseli in the late afternoon for a short game drive, with your first opportunity to spot the park's legendary elephants gathering at the swamps.

Travel time: approximately 5–6 hours. Overnight: Amboseli lodge

Day 6: Full Day Amboseli

Rise before dawn for a full day in Amboseli National Park, Kenya's finest elephant-watching destination. The park is home to some of the largest tuskers on the continent — bulls with tusks that sweep the ground. With Kilimanjaro's twin peaks providing a dramatic backdrop, this is arguably the most photogenic wildlife destination in East Africa. Keep an eye out for lions, Cape buffalo, and the park's abundant birdlife across the open floodplains.

Overnight: Amboseli lodge

Day 7: Amboseli — Morning Drive & Departure

One final early-morning drive as Kilimanjaro reveals itself in the crisp dawn air — a moment that stays with travelers for a lifetime. Return for brunch before the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening with time for dinner and last-minute shopping at a craft market.

Travel time: approximately 4 hours. Overnight: Nairobi (hotel)

Day 8: Departure Day

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Your guide will ensure you arrive in plenty of time. Depart Kenya with a full heart and a memory card bursting with once-in-a-lifetime images.
